Image Processing and Scanning
CIT Lab: Image Processing and Scanning The image processing and scanning workstations enable users to acquire and process digital images. This is done by using scanning hardware to digitize images from print, photographs and slides. A digital camera is also available for image capture. Once digitized, these images may be edited, altered and otherwise processed with the graphical software at these stations. For the graphically inclined, we also have workstations with software and hardware for creating images from scratch. The latest versions of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator are available on all CIT Lab workstations. Debabelizer image processing software is also available for both the Mac and Windows.
