Small, M.D., as recipient of the Eleventh Annual Faculty Research Lectureship – Clinical Science for the impact and legacy of his top-caliber work as a clinical research investigator and teacher. The Lecture, entitled “Immunotherapy for Prostate Cancer: Fact or Fiction?” took place on Monday, October 24, 2011. Among the top echelon of medical oncologists specializing in prostate cancer clinical research, Dr. Small is widely regarded as one of the world’s authorities on immunotherapeutics and novel therapies in patients with advanced prostate cancer. 2011 Faculty Research Lecture - Translational Science: Michael Harrison, MD 2011-05-10 The Academic Senate is pleased to announce the selection of Michael R. Harrison, M.D., as the recipient of the inaugural Faculty Research Lecturein Translational Science. 2011 Faculty Research Lecture - Basic Science: Lewis Lanier on 'Natural Killer' Cells 2011-02-23 The Academic Senate is honored to present the 54th Annual Faculty Research Lecture - Basic Science to Dr. Lewis L. Lanier, Ph.D. for his lifetime body of work on the workings of 'natural killer' cells. Dr. Lanier's lecture was held Monday, February 14, 2011 on the Parnassus Campus and simulcast to the UCSF Mission Bay and SF General Hospital locations. Dr, Lanier was introduced by Dr. Art Weiss, M.D., PhD, Ephraim P. Engleman Distinguished Professor and Chief, Division of Rheumatology. Play
