Forgot your GALEN Account information?

More information about GALEN Accounts
  • Students who entered UCSF after Fall 2001
All students who entered UCSF in Fall 2001 or later have had their GALEN Accounts created for them before their arrival on campus. The GALEN Account login name and initial GALEN password correspond to the SAA UserID and PIN codes, respectively, issued by the Office of Admission and Registrar (OAR). If you have forgotten your SAA UserID or PIN, you must request them from the Office of Admission and Registrar (OAR) in Millberry Union West, room MU200. If you changed your GALEN password (so it is no longer the same as your PIN) and you cannot remember it, you can reset it by following the link above.

  • UCSF Faculty, Staff, all other Students, and public users
If you have already set up a GALEN Account, you were able to specify what your GALEN Account login name is. If you forget your GALEN Account login name, follow the link above to find out what it is. If you forget your GALEN password, you reset it by following the link above. Faculty and staff who have not yet created a UCSF GALEN Account can do so here: GALEN Accounts

Note: Public GALEN Accounts cannot access WebCT or the CLE without special intervention by an individual course designer/instructor and CIT staff.

Go to GALEN Accounts for more information about GALEN Accounts.
