Linking to PubMed from your WebCT Course
Linking to PubMed from your WebCT Course
PubMed is now UCSF's primary interface to the MEDLINE database. If you want to create a link to PubMed from any portion of your WebCT course, you should use the special PubMed@UCSF web address.
PubMed@UCSF enables you to:
- Link directly to electronic journals licensed by UCSF.
- Check to see if UCSF owns the journal you need and get its call number.
- Request an article from other UC campuses if UCSF does not own the journal.

WebCT course designers can contact CIT staff for assistance on adding a PubMed@UCSF link to their WebCT courses, in addition to creating links to full text journal articles, MEDLINE citations, or other library resources.
