Linking to PubMed from your WebCT Course

PubMed is now UCSF's primary interface to the MEDLINE database. If you want to create a link to PubMed from any portion of your WebCT course, you should use the special PubMed@UCSF web address.

PubMed@UCSF enables you to:

Link directly to electronic journals licensed by UCSF.
Check to see if UCSF owns the journal you need and get its call number.
Request an article from other UC campuses if UCSF does not own the journal.

WebCT course designers can contact CIT staff for assistance on adding a PubMed@UCSF link to their WebCT courses, in addition to creating links to full text journal articles, MEDLINE citations, or other library resources.
