Resetting a WebCT Course
Resetting a WebCT Course One of the most important steps in re-using courses on WebCT is resetting these courses each term. Resetting your course removes all student information from your course, getting it ready to add the next student class. This page describes how UCSF WebCT course designers can reset their courses. The Reset Course function allows you to delete information from your course that changes from term to term (for example, student grades) while keeping the instructional content in your course. WARNING: You cannot retrieve information that you have reset. Before resetting your course, we recommend that you both create a backup of your course and download the student gradebook to your computer. There are three simple steps to reset a WebCT course at UCSF:
